It’s been a strange month in the fish world and
the news headlines on the front page of the Practical Fishkeeping
website have looked more like something from a tabloid newspaper than
those of an aquarium magazine!
First it was the capture of the biggest freshwater fish since records
began, then a boy choking to death on a Climbing perch, then when
you think the news couldn’t get any stranger, a giant Marlin
attacks an angler in his fishing boat, a boy gets impaled by a giant
needlefish and a dog-eating eel kills a goose…
